Fox Hollow, FL – I’ve always heard rumors that Twitter censors tweets from conservative posters if they choose to post “offensive” tweets. Now offensive to a libtard media outlet like Twitter or Facebook is subjective… it could mean a simple picture of a gun, an Obama meme, and apparently just a basic picture of Donald Trump. Yes, you read that right. Apparently just run of the mill pictures of Trump, and basic non-inflammatory meme’s featuring Trump are now being censored by Twitter.
I know this because Twitter has censored a re-tweet of a Trump meme that isn’t controversial in the least. Essentially this “evil” meme that garnered Twitter’s censorship Nazi’s to “shadowban” it features a picture of Trump giving a campaign speech and reads… “People are Getting Paid to Protest At My Rallies – I’m Already Creating Jobs Before I Am Even President”.
It’s harmless… and I have posted far worse meme’s than this one that has not been censored before, or have they?
The practice, known as “shadowbanning,” has been regularly used for some time on sites like Reddit and Twitter. Essentially when a social media user or a general topic that the social media outlets finds “offensive” (like pictures of Trump) is shadowbanned, their content gets hidden from view from all but themselves. They are still able to post content, leave comments and participate in discussions, but their contributions have become invisible to others. Since moderators on a given board or platform don’t inform the user that their content has been shadowbanned, their posts simply appear to go unanswered or disregarded.
Now I have a dummy Twitter test account that I use to check my feed to ensure that I’m not being shadowbanned by Twitter, and so far to date that hasn’t occurred yet. However, while I’m not being directly shadowbanned, they are actively censoring select retweets that feature images of Trump.
I noticed that Twitter was censoring this specific meme when I checked my Tweet Feed on WhiskeyTangoFett.com and noticed that in place of an image, was instead some libtard gobbly gook stating the following…
“We automatically hide photos that might contain sensitive content.”
I thought for a second… what in the hell did I post last night and how much did I drink? Gesh, it must be bad for Twitter to censor the image like this… did I post a nude photo, pull a Brett Farve, or something equally bad? I was about to shit a brick. Needless to say, I was shocked when I clicked to reveal the horrible XXX rated image and found it was just a picture of Trump.
So Twitter will censor a run of the mill image of Trump, but won’t censor the Tweets of ISIS daesh-bags who post images of the innocent people they murdered.
Liberal logic at its greatest… somehow an image of “the Don” is NC17 rated, meanwhile the image of an ISIS goat-fucker holding the severed and bloody head of a Syrian soldier is PG13?
Here are some screen shots that show the censored image before and after I clicked reveal:
Again, you can view this for yourself on my Tweet Feed, which is a Twitter App I installed on my website, whiskeytangofett.com. The meme in question isn’t censored on Twitter itself (as far as I can tell) and is only censored on Twitter’s “Tweet Feed” HTML plugin App.
If you have been censored on social media I’d love to hear about it… post your censorship stories in the comment section below.
